I spent a couple hours working on my "Table" project due in a couple weeks. It took me quite a while to figure out how to make the table in Microsoft word. The best help I got came from watching a handful of youtube videos. Finally, I think I got it all looking right. The website to find the NETS standards was rather difficult to use also. After clicking around, getting nowhere, for quite a while, I finally found the NETS standards in some obscure download pdf file. Did I mention technology is not easy for me? You can probably tell. I'm working on it.

Kudos for your patience and determination…technology can be difficult when it is your first time trying to create and search for things. I’m glad that you were successful. Hang in there! And once you are successful, you won’t go back, can’t go back!
ReplyDeleteI sometimes think about how we made it without cell phones, but we survived. I just traded my “flip fone” for a smartphone! I refused to pay extra money for a data package that I was not going to use. My kids constantly asked me, “When are you going to get a smartphone?” My response, “Why do I need access to the Internet when I’m away from home? Whatever it is, it can wait.” Well let me tell you, nobody can pry my Samsung Galaxy 4s from my fingers. I am downloading apps, on Snapchat, reading emails, listening to music, etc. I even downloaded the Bb (Blackboard) app. I am hooked and won’t go back!
Did you try to find the nets standards at iste.org? That is a pretty good web site with lots of information. You are alone there are lots of people struggling with using the technology. I am sure we will get better with it each day. I have downloaded lotsa apps to my galaxy 4 too and I am loving it.
ReplyDeleteI will try that site, thanks!
